About me:

"Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans." - John Lennon

"Life happens when the tectonic power of your speechless soul breaks through the dead habits of the mind." - John Patrick Shanley (preface of DOUBT - a parable)

"The greatest discovery of my generation is that a human being can alter his life by altering his attitudes." - William James

"Intellect annuls Fate. So far as a person thinks, he is free." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

"The significant problems we face cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them." - Albert Einstein

"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind do not matter, and those who matter do not mind." - Theodore Geisel (a.k.a. Dr. Seuss)

"Even if you are on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there." - Will Rogers

"The older and wiser I get, the less compassion I feel for those who repeatedly refuse to make wise decisions in their lives and/or treat others unkind." - I said that. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This I believe:

The Four Agreements (Toltec)

~Be Impeccable With Your Word~
Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.

~Dont Take Anything Personally~
Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you wont be the victim of needless suffering.

~Dont Make Assumptions~
Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.

~Always Do Your Best~
Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse and regret. ..

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Who I'd like to meet:

Oh you know. I would like to meet....good people. Fun people. Smart and witty people. Interesting people. The kind of people you like. When you meet them.

My weight loss goal deadline is my birthday, May 21. My goal is to be 150 or less by then. I'm not allowed to look at a scale until then, but I believe I'm currently in the low 160's.

6 months is not a huge deal, but a decent enough event to make notice of. And I'm pretty sure you can block notifications from me if the daily pic experiment bothers you.

I like to ride my bike in the morning. (6:59am to 7:30am). It's nice to get it over with as early as possible and it helps with my day.
