About me:

"Humanity i love you because you are perpetually putting the secret of life in your pants and forgetting it's there and sitting down on it" -e.e. cummings ......................#%^%$#&*&

"The truly creative mind in any field is no more than this: A human creature born abnormally, inhumanly sensitive. To him... a touch is a blow, a sound is a noise, a misfortune is a tragedy, a joy is an ecstasy, a friend is a lover, a lover is a god, and failure is death. Add to this cruelly delicate organism the overpowering necessity to create, create, create - - - so that without the creating of music or poetry or books or buildings or something of meaning, his very breath is cut off from him. He must create, must pour out creation. By some strange, unknown, inward urgency he is not really alive unless he is creating." Pearl S. Buck

Who I'd like to meet:

People who want to play music with me or talk about making change in laws, people who appreciate modern art and who sing in choirs, people who know value is not just economic and create when they feel like complaining, people who believe in saving our mental environment and people with invisible illness, people who are shy extroverts or outgoing introverts, like me.

  • Books

Richard P. Feynman. Pearl S. Buck. e e cummings, and an entire library full of authors. I have small but beautiful collection of old books, and I read so much I have started to document my favorites via facebook app. Currently I have been reading Solzhenitsyn's Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich, which takes place in a Siberian political prisoner camp, and diaries of people living in rehabilitation camps in China during the Great Leap Forward and the Cultural Revolution. I don't know, but I guess since I got in trouble for trying to use medical marijuana, I am very interested in governments that imprison their own people, how it has happened historically. I find that "fiction" is sometimes the best truth out there, if you are able to truly connect with the truths in a book.
