Love the outdoors and everything in it...'cept the buggy, bitin critters. Thank goodness for DEET. Love camping, hiking, four wheeling, horseback riding, boating, jet skiing, fishing, rock hunting, mushroom and raspberry hunting, photography, motorcycles,racing (circle track and drag),rodeo, etc. I am very much a dog person, although I don't have a dog right now (not enough time to devote to one). I have a lot of interests and enjoy learning new things and hobbies.
I really like football, but am not totally loyal to only one team. I like Green Bay, the Steelers, and the Broncos. I like to go to baseball games, but not watch on tv. I like hockey.
Too many to mention. Comedies and action movies are my favorite genres, and I also have a deep love for goofy spoof movies. Also like some westerns, with my favorite being "Two Mules For Sister Sarah". I also like musicals...surprisingly I really like Mamma Mia...it's stupidly romantic and silly and almost makes you want to gag...but it appeals to a side of me that has been gone for a long time, but is coming back.

I gravitate towards non-fiction, when I have time to read. I believe the saying that "knowledge is power".
Heroes
Soldiers...and their families. How hard must it be to watch with a mixture of pride and fear as your son/daughter/husband/wife/loved one goes off to war?
I also have a heart for single dads. It's tough being a single parent, and I really admire and respect single dads.

Who I'd like to meet: New friends - people that share my passions - interesting people - funny people. I myself have a great sense of humor (although it's kind of raunchy and redneck) and try to find as much as I can to laugh about.
Ya, of course the 'shroom is for cooking. ha ha But I don't think I have ever had wild 'shrooms cooked at home. Something I will have to try one of these days :) My adventurous palate has not yet met its boundaries.
