Heidi E. is 28 years old and grew up in the city of Oslo, Norway.
She finished the Performing Arts Music course at LIPA with voice as her main instrument in 2006. She has been located in NYC performing and concentrating on her songwriting and are now back in Oslo getting together a new band.
She is influenced and inspired by artists and songwriters such as Joni Mitchell, Tori Amos, and traditional folkmusic (Norwegian/irish/celtic/sami).
Her music has evolved from deeply-personal folky stylings into pop and rock. Her songs are lyric driven, catchy and melodic. Her folk and pop influences mixed with her recognizable folky and at times joiking voice creates her own individual style.
