There are times when we are all pressed into strictures, scriptures, dictates and steel edged boxes; and some of us too much. There are a rare few who blast out, geniuses of soul, who sing widely, ring the ivory keys open, lacquered black wood thumps your heart through the floor. This passion blends Frida Kahlo (wild and beautiful) through Georgia O'Keeffe (endless folds of flower) as music as art. They all drift together after release to the hum of the body. .. .. Heidijo was raised in Hobble Creek Utah but she didn't stay long. Her heart led her adrift; to study with masters of her craft. From California to New Orleans to Alaska to Cuba to France and back chasing her muse. Just listen and you will understand. .. .. When you are lost, adrift, early winter blowing in through your broken windows, she'll draw you a hot bath, blend in magic oils of sound and feed you gourmet courses of jazzpunkblues. .. .. .. -
