The Light... The first records I ever bought I bought together. The Police ( the black cover with the red clock numbers on it :) and The Rolling Stones ( Tatoo You ) Following that I worked all summer delivering papers to buy Madonna's ( Like a Virgin oh I loved that record ) and a 45 by Cory Heart :) Abba played regularly, as did Carly Simon, Kinky Dee, and Cher, oh yeah and a German singer named Heije, Since then, it's been alot of alternative and punk rock, along with the Beatles, and Bob Marley. Now my influences are family ( son , daughter, husband) and friends, the action others are taking to right the wrongs, touring, People, Life, Love and Happiness, ascension, healing, empowerment, dancing, fire spinning, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Ghandi, Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, Beauty in all forms, the earth, the human family and where we are at, Cat Stevens, Joni MItchel, Led Zepplin, Heart, Lesely Garett, Bon Jovi, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Metallica, All/Decendence, Martin Luther King, John Lennon/the beatles,The Goonies, The Neverending Story, Brave Heart, Green Day, Big Drill Car, I love Cats, Grease, Under Milkwood, anything Shakespeare, Metallica, Recently Herbie Hancock, not so recently Jack Johnson, Foo Fighters, Surfing, Skateboarding, Science Fiction, Travel (anywhere), all music I hear the good and the not so good.......

All about Peace Love and Light, always have been always will be, if you would like to foray into my work google Peace Heidi Little or just Heidi Little.. Always more to come, working on a few things now, the most exciting of my life actually, there are many things happening right now that are hard for us as a family, many people behaving very badly, we are doing a nightly meditation to help ignite the world leaders to positive forward momentum and to take away the guns, bombs and weapons in general from the children crushing their part of the garden. I have personally always been in or surrounded by circumstances that are not peacefull, from my upbringing, to my siblings, to the stuff people tell me when we're out and about. That is why I started writing songs. The good had to come from somewhere, there had to be peace somewhere..On a lighter note,

Filled with a voice of human will, perseverance, toleration and love, each track contributes to a journey transitioning from day to day steps, to reaching life's eternal doorways and pillars, within. The album recognizes that pieces in the grand puzzle of truth's reality often spill, and as such, Ms. Little reminds us to lift them up from the ground, so that we may put them together in the sky. The first song on the album, "Fly," begins with the lyrics, "I've been thinking lately, we could use a little time - just to lead to something, to expand our minds" - a fraction of the cause for internal R/Evolution. While the album generally combines elements of traditional folk, pop, and rock, listen carefully and one can also hear experimentations with meditative sound space, as heard in the beginning of "The Song" and in certain parts of "Movin On." Any one who has ever felt the thorns in a rose, or the peace of having a friend nearby, will surely feel an impact from Dreams of Grandeur .

Carrying on the tradition of great female troubadours from Canada, Heidi has made a lovely record. A little Alanis Morrisette, a little Buffy Sainte Marie she's grown into her own sound over the last couple years. We used to go see punk rock shows when we were kids, she's come a long way since then and I'm happy to witness the process.
