These sweeties were born the morning of transport out of Georgia to Florida, Feb. 12th. Many thanks to all who made this possible!
'Greta Garbo' is precious little girl came to us from a high-kill shelter in central Florida. She is very sweet and calm!
Sable is a sweetheart and just as loving as can be!
<
Winnie is a special little girl full of love and affection. Due to her breeding, her eyes are under-developed and her vision is limited.
Sandy was once owned by family that moved away and left her in the yard - pregnant. She is a sweetheart and a wonderful mother!
Here's our Baby Girl! She is a real sweet heart who loves to play and snuggle with you in bed, just watch out or she'll hog your pillow.
Scruffy and his buddy Lincoln were both turned in to a kill shelter by their owners who no longer wanted to care for them. He is SWEET!
Sheena was picked up by Animal Control after being abandoned - she is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside!
Daisy is our shelter favorite- just look at her little face, you can see why. She is looking for her forever family.
Opie is a Schnauzer, Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie Mix and the last of our 'little family'. He will make a wonderful new family member!
Spanky was dodging traffic, covered in fleas, ear infections/mites, and an infection on his belly, but he is all well now and a happy boy!
Hunter was a stray and has been living in a cage for about 2 months with no stimulus. He is now estimated to be about 1 to 1.5 years.
Lincoln is a sweet little guy; loves to cuddle, play, and make friends. He's probably around 10 pounds and 2 years old
Remi is a Distemper survivor having not been given his puppy shots. He is doing wonderfully and we are seeking a 'very special' home
Teddy Bear and his brother are survivors of Parvo. Now in the past, both are very
healthy guys now and Teddy Bear is waiting for a family to call his own.
Georgie is a sweet boy; very affectionate to humans - loves hugs. He's about 2 years old. His former life wasn't too good to him but only good is awaiting him now.
Lassy, an 11 month old girl is solid GSD. She definitely had never been socialized with humans or dogs but boy she has fit in and loves all!
Natia is with us and once she gains weight, she will be even more beautiful. She is sweet, loving, affectionate, has a great temperament.
Rhea and Taya are sweetness and love with cute little barks. These pups came from rescue friend in Burke County, Ga. where pups are dumped!
Baron is a prime example of what is possible when saving these angels. Baron’s numerous medical needs included a severe skin condition and malnutrion. His nails were so long he could barely walk, but when we came to save him--out he walked, straight to freedom.
At the shelter
We are so happy to have you Baron!
BARON is a marvelous boy with a great personality, wonderful with other dogs and people. His foster mom says Baron is a sweet and loving boy that will make a wonderful companion to some great home. He's made absolutely wonderful strides since he joined us, gaining weight, smiling, and learning to play with boys. So many rescued dogs have no idea what a toy is. He is neutered and UTD on shots, If you are curious about this marvelous and handsome boy, please send an email to netter78@hotmail.com and the foster mom will be more than happy to answer any questions.
Snookie
Snookie was found wandering roads, with a bad limp. We were able to afford the reconstruction surgery. It appears she was hit by a car some time before and her owners never sought medical help, so the broken bone(s) healed uncorrected
Lacy
Lacy is a sweet girl that needs a bit of time to get used to new people in her life. She loves her crates, uses the doggie door and plays with all the other dogs. We believe at one time she was injured by a larger dog so if another dog plays a bit rough she may cry out but that is all and then she is fine. She would be great with a retired or mature couple that she could give all her love and affection to.
Sophie is absolutely a loving girl of about 15 to 20 pounds. She was found on the streets of Plant City with a very tight collars on her neck and dragging a 4 foot rope which she apparently chewed trough to gain her freedom. We'll check her out with our vet, if she needs to be spayed then she will be. Great personality, good with all aged humans and dogs. She has won our hearts because she was such a mess when we got her with clumps of fur that had to be cut off, long nails, filthy. We thought she was a light brown girl when after 3 baths she was white. She'll make someone or some family a wonderful companion.
This is another wonderful boy looking for that special home that will love him and care properly for him. With additional weight put on his bones, he is going to be one gorgeous boy. He was recently introduced to 6 other dogs from small to large and everything was great. Our dogs are doggie door trained. If you can't adopt but can foster, please let us know for this is a wonderful thing for our companions being able to be in a special home while waiting for the final home.
Trixie is what we call a feral dog. She was born on the city streets and had little is any peopole contact. She shares a room and private yard with one other dog now and is showing happiness when she sees us off and on during the day. She will be a work of love but so worth is. Trixie will make an absolutely wonderful pet when we find the right person/ persons for her. Trixie is extra sweet and loving, very smart and just the right size. Trixie's coat is short and is just beautiful. Trixie is still shy but is doing very well with this issue as she learns what love and structure is. She is so happy to see anyone that her whole body wiggles. Come meet Trixie you won't be disappointed. As you can see from one of the pictures, she is wonderful with little kids.
This mild mannered and loving girl was found on the side of a rural road starving when she was about 14 weeks old. That is then and this is now - she is marvelous from her amazing and loving temperament with all other dogs, down to her love for people. Recently we had Willow to a hugh adoption event where another dog can running up to her (she was on a leash) and snapped at Willow right in the face. Willow simply looked at the other dog as if the so 'what is your problem.' Willow never attempted to retaliate and kept walking. She is also very intelligent, loves to play with any other dog, and loves to be loved. She has a beautiful red coat with the red nose. She loves everyone and everything. She's shown no aggression with her fellow rescue roommates or any other dog she has encountered, but rather would play and have fun. She would make a good 'poster child' for her breed.

I hope you're doing well! Many blessings, always. Have you heard from Dee? I called her, but haven't heard back. I pray she is doing better. Much love... Pat
Hi, Have you ever heard of aerial hunting? It's a brutal practice. Wolves are shot from low-flying aircraft or chased to exhaustion, then killed at point-blank range.
Governor Sarah Palin, the Republican nominee for Vice President, promotes this barbaric practice, exploiting a loophole in the Federal Airborne Hunting Act to allow private wolf killers to shoot down wolves using aircraft. We have to get the word out about this!

Hey there~ How's your week starting out?? I hope it will be a good one! :) Mine started out kinda bad and I was pretty down and depressed, but it got better as the day went on. Thank goodness! I went to the orthodontist today for my first "adjustment"...that went well, gosh will I be sore tomorrow! LOL Just when I got to where I wasn't sore and could eat, it's mashed potatoes again! LOL But it will all be worth it someday. We are still watching Ike as it will probably be in the Gulf sometime tomorrow. It looks bad, I sure hate this season. My hubby can't go to work, hasn't worked in over 2 weeks now and it will be AFTER Ike comes thru before he can go back. I'm trying not to worry, but it's hard not too. Please pray for us... Well, I guess I'll go, hope you have an awesome Tuesday and take care! God Bless you & yours!
Hey there~ Long time...I know! I missed you so much!! Glad to be back online. Gosh it's been crazy with these storms, hubby off work. But DO have some good news...My hubby (william) has went down to New Orleans to help with the cleanup and he goes back offshore next Monday (yay) Gotta get bills paid!! And my brother moved here with us. He loves it here in Shreveport. So naturally I've been showing him around and trying to help him find a job...hopefully he can get on with my hospital...so that's where I've been. Ike was nice to us, we never even lost power, but some of our neighbors across town in Shreveport are still w/o power. So how are you?? I hope everything is good! Well, I'll TTYL... God BLess!
