Thank you for the birthday wishes. I had a good day. We went out in the evening for a meal, which was nice. Yesterday I got my very first tattoo! It was a present from my husband. I got a treble clef with a rose at the top, on the back of my shoulder. I was a bit nervous to have it done but it wasn't as bad as I though, thank goodness!

I hope your husband is keeping well and you too.

First of all, I was so sorry to hear that your husband has been unwell. I hope he is continuing to get better. A month and a half is a long time to spend in hospital. You must have been out of your mind with worry, poor thing! It must have been a comfort to have Fabian home at the weekends.  I can understand that going to a concert would have been the last thing of your mind.

I see you have sussed out the photos. Thanks for all the kind comments.  The gig was amazing as always.  We had 2nd row despite queuing for 4 1/4 hours!!! There was an issue with security so people pushed in but I'll explain that when I write my blog.  We were lucky enough to meet everyone except Eddie. He didn't feel well so didn't come out. We met Drew but didn't get a pic as he disappeared so quickly.  It was a very long day on our feet but it was worth it!  Munich is a lovely place. We arrived on Easter Sunday and went home on the Tuesday so it was a nice break.  They won't be coming back to Europe until next year now so it will be a long time until any of us can see them again, unfortunately!

I hate this new myspace too. Nothing is the same!

Anyway, you take care and I hope the next few months aren't as stressful as the last few months for you and hubby stays well.

I hope you are enjoying your days off and am glad that you had sunshine today.  We did too, in fact it was 24 degrees today which was very pleasant.  Tomorrow there is rain :(

On Saturday it is Daniella's 18th birthday and we are going to an american diner called Zach's in the evening.  Still can't believe she will be 18!

My son was made redundant a week ago as the company he worked for went into administration.  He has signed on at the job centre so I hope that he gets something quite soon but it is a bit of a worry.

Hi Heike,

I'm not too bad thanks.  I have a cold which I think is a combination of last weekend's weather plus being in a very hot venue.  OneRepublic said it was the hottest place they had ever played at.  We were all literally melting, lol.  When Ryan touched my hand, his sweat dripped on my wrist, haha.

Berlin was really nice, thank you.  We took an open top tour bus and visited all the sites which was interesting.  It was sunny when we got on but towards the end, it started to rain quite hard.  We arrived in Berlin at about 9am.  We had a very early flight so I had no sleep the night before.  By Saturday evening I was like a zombie, lol.  The concert was the next day.  The only criticism I have of Berlin is that so many people smoke.  Everywhere you go, you can't avoid smoke blowing in your face, lol.  We stayed until Monday evening and had a 10pm flight back, so another late night by the time we got home.

The gig was really good despite the heat and my husband came in this time but stood nearer to the back.  He is now hooked and wants to see them again.  He kept telling that to Eddie.  We were lucky that everyone came out after the gig, although I didn't get to speak or have a pic with Zach.  He snuck off before I could get to him, lol.  Ryan came out in a rush as usual so the pic I have with him isn't that good as it was taken last minute.  I just had a quick pic with Brent but Eddie and Drew stood chatting for ages.  We were chatting with Drew until 2am! Eddie went off a bit earlier with Ryan to a party of Til Schweiger.  He was at the gig as a guest of Ryan.  My videos are up on Youtube and you can see him on there.  I still have to upload the pics on here though.  I can relate to the aching bones, lol.  I was definitely shattered by the end of the evening!

I hope you are well and I'm glad you enjoyed the gig.  Its a pity they had to rush off after though.  Next time you will see them, I'm sure.
