Hey there! I kind of already covered my set of interests in my "About Me" Column.. but I'll give it another shot. Here we go:
As I mentioned earlier... I love anything where I'm outside. I love to go hiking, backpacking, walking... day or night. It's both spiritual and invigorating... to be able to feel the sun or the moon smiling on you... the scents and tastes of the world around you.. mountains... the beach... anywhere... just like I said... its amazing.
As to sports.... I love basketball and archery in particular. In archery, when you draw the bow, you're drawing energy from yourself and the world... and when you release it with the arrow.. its this rush as all the energy is freed in a single spontaneous movement....
So I'll say the following things... ... Im very.. loud and passionate about what I believe.... Im always debating one thing or another... particularly in favor of gay rights and religous freedom.. everyone should have the oppurtunity to live their life as they choose.. no matter what you think of them... and whether thats leading a quiet life with their homosexual lover or doing something crazy... thats their business. Besides.. it's hot. Deal with it.

Some of my favorite movies include Disney classics like Alice in Wonderland, Finding Nemo, The Three Muskateers, Robin Hood, Lion King, Wall-E, Ratatouille, Meet the Robinsons, Bambi, Fox and the Hound, Brother Bear, Toy Story, Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, Jungle Book, Lady and the Tramp, Homeward Bound, 101 Dalmations, Frankenweenie, and Fantasia

Television
Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, MythBusters, Discovery Channel, MTV, Futurama, Drawn Together, South Park.. Basically.. anything involving sexual interactions, cartoony humor, or blowing stuff up. If it has all three... then I'm hooked... I'm also a broke college student... so I tend to go with Season Sets that have been released rather than cable.

Heroes
..
I can't really say that I have any heroes in particular... there hasn't ever been anyone that I want to especially emulate or follow... but there are a few people who have made a tremendous difference in my life... so here's the sappy parts:
My grandfather... the man was amazing... his choice of schools (USC) could have been a bit better.. ::Snickers:: .. but because he was so amazing.. I almost wanted to go there... He was a Navy Man through and through with a high set of morals, a knack for investing money (lots of Disney), and a love of people and other places. He could travel the world and never be satisfied, but when he sat down at the end of every day he was gracious to every man and woman he came accross regardless of their differences... and in a time when racism was dividing the US... he'd serve a black man first if he walked into the shop first... because he was there first and that was all there was to it.. and if anyone tried to tell him different... well let's just say he was the most stubborn mule with a rigid sense of what he believed....
The other person... a previous advisor of mine and a very good friend... I just gotta give you props.. ya Seth, you know I'm talking about you. I'm gonna say that you taught me three fundamental things: first of all you taught me to open my mouth and say exactly what I was thinking. You called me a natural debater... but before you I was quiet! But you're never gonan get anywhere in life if you keep quiet and blend into the wood work... Secondly... you taught me the importance of togetherness. You took a group of 30 or 40 kids and made them a family. There was bickering, and teasing, and sometimes a kid went astray.. but six years later, we'd still drop whatever we're going to help an old friend... you taught us about One Love. And finally and most sappy.. but then again this is the hero section... you taught us how awesome we all are. We all have strengths and weaknesses that make us unique... and as long as we have love for ourselves.. we can reach for the stars.... ya.. sappy but oh so true. Even if you never do respond to phone calls or emails...
