Heimia was founded in july 2004 by four musicians(Guitar: Teemu Aakko, Bass: Petri Henell, Vocals: Ticu Korhonen, Drums: Jussi Kaukonen). At the end of year 2006 a second guitarist named Petri Saarela joined in. In march 2007 the drummer changed to Teemu Hautaniemi. The band have played some gigs in the rock clubs of Oulu, Finland and has been a part of the Qstock-city festival..s starting club, Qmotus. Heimia has released two demos, "Heimia" in the year 2004 and "Hell Yeah" 2006, and one EP, Hell Yeah 2007. In May 2008 Teemu Hautaniemi and Petri Saarela decided to leave the band. And soon after that Petri Henell, the bassist, gave up with the band too. So we had to find replacements, and we sure as hell did!! The new drummer is named Jake Pistokoski, and the bassist is named Kai Kauranen. In october 2008 we completed the line-up with a stunning sologuitarist named Pete Gaidamak. The story ain..t over just yet. This is not the end, this is REBIRTH!!
