Al & Judy desperately wanted another child. However a horrific combine accident in Western Kansas had left them unable to accomplish this task. When just about to give up, Judy was visited by an angel of the Lord.....OK, it was the Federal Bureau of Robots Instead of Children, or the FBRIC (pronounced fib-rick). An 11 year aged Humanoid Robot was leased to them for 16 dollars a month. However something went inexplicably wrong! Instead of a soul, an unquenchable thirst for the creation of mind shattering music was installed. No refund was possible.
Jay. He is one music making bad ass iron fisted ruler of the new world order soul searching guitar shredding slave emancipating bridge crossing apple cart tipping muther fucking genius. Hide the kids.
Heir to Madness *was* my solo project. Yes, I did all the parts myself on the 1st CD release (The Citadel), I'm not saying this to boast, but to save time because this is that is the most frequent question I get. I take credit for butchering every sound you hear. But, while I did write, play, and record the CD on my own, I must thank two friends who helped shape HTM into what it is today, thru advice, ideas, and statements like: "Jay, that just sounds like ass." Thank you to Tim and Ian.
But now HTM is a becoming a full band project, with the most recent addition of Mike Sanchez, who I'm am soooo lucky to be working with. The next CD will BLOW YOUR MIND.
And thanks to each of you, for taking the time to listen, to message me, or to comment. I'm astonished and incredibly grateful on a daily basis by all of your support, kind words, and great advice. I'm in your debt.
All recording is done in Jay's home studio in Keller, Texas.
