HELCION is a 3 piece heavy-melodic rock band, based out or the Okanagan, BC. Formed in late 2004, founders Jessica Toorenburgh on bass and vocals and Corey Ferguson on drums, joined forces with guitarist Richard Madsen and began developing a brand of heavy music that brought together the diverse influences from their varied backgrounds. 2008 saw the addition of Leanne Baillie on vocals, capturing the vocal harmonies from the recordings and fully realizing it LIVE!

HELCION II, our latest EP, was recorded at Big Audio Productions with the very talented Bob Gablehouse June 2007. "This five track EP is epic psychedelic prog rock in all its glory, which despite my comparisons to another talented yet slightly more known band (TOOL), shows that they definatley have found their own brand of sound" Sarah Willard, BC Musician.
We've just completed recording 5 new tracks, Cd Release October 2008! Stay tuned in the next few months for NEW TRACKS, NEW CD, and NEW TOUR!!!
