I Ninive hanno firmato il loro primo contratto discografico con la CNI MUSIC (Tomato), etichetta romana che annovera tra le sue produzioni quelle di Almamegretta, Ennio Morricone, Sud Sound System, Enzo Avitabile e tanti altri.
Nel mese di giugno 2009 la band si è trasferita a Bolgona, dove ha inciso il suo primo disco LP di 12 brani intitolato INSONNE, presso il Morphing Studio di Cristiano Santini, sound engenier, musicista (Disciplinatha) e produttore (C.S.I, Soerba, Luci Ferme, Argine, Diathriba ecc..).
Uno studio di registrazione situato all'interno del Groove Factory di Bologna, da cui sono passati artisti come Paolo Benvegnù, Marco Parente, Offlaga Disco Pax, Ulan Bator, Massimo Volume fino ad arrivare a nomi come Vinicio Capossela e Giovanni Allevi.
Al lavoro di mastering dell'album INSONNE, curato da Francesco Donadello (Giardini di mirò - Alpha Dept Studio) seguirà una distribuzione nazionale.
