Currently;
Planning a 6 month exploration of; Asia, India, Australia, UK and Ireland, starting in late November. I'll be partly holidaying and visiting relatives but hope to do volunteering on small holdings, with horses and alternative lifestyles, including music and arty type places.
And;
Music wise I'm playing bass for Jeff Jepson, a singer songwriter playing really gorgeous stuff. We play out at the more acoustic nights in Liverpool, including View 2 gallery and St. Brides at the lovely acoustic nights they put on.
Music history;
I've been playing music (Guitar, singing and dancing) since I was a precocious child.
I started on the bass guitar as a teenager and played for my then boyfriends band. We played Gothic rock and plastered ourselves in think make-up and misery, great. Then I grow up and left them (and him) to play in a succession of bands of differing styles in Bristol.
Eventually I got a session job with 'Up-Bustle and Out', who are singed to Ninja tunes. I played session bass for their live sets though out Europe, and Japan, playing Glastonbury (my best gig ever).
After U.B & Out I moved to Liverpool to study music at LIPA specializing in Bass, graduating in 2001.
And now;
I remained in Liverpool and as well as other various band over the year and my work with Jeff, I write, play and sing my own material, sometimes working with different musicians. (the tunes that are on this myspace)
I'm always looking out for collaborations with musicians of a similar leaning, so have a listen and give a buzz if you are up for a jam.
