HELIUM, the name doesn't really sum up the wide array of musical talent and variation in styles that this band produces. Formed in the late months of 2005, HELIUM have been going from strength to strength producing performances with rock-fuelled, waltzing blues, and a deep undertone of funk that come straight of the smooth side of the radio dial. Drawing comparisons with Jet whilst mastering the heavily distorted guitars of Kula Shaker, it's never immediately obvious how to describe the genre of music you experience whilst watching HELIUM. And an experience it is!
La Folie are back in town again and we playing at the O2 Academy on Friday 11th of Septmeber! It's £4 a ticket and you get in to Transmission afterwards for free!
