The Hellboppers trio consists of two members and one former member of Sydney's multi-award winning Kings of Rockin' Blues and Swing, The Bellhops. The Hellboppers format allows the guys to play some acoustic blues in the style of Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker etc. The repertoire covers all of the classic blues tunes plus a fair smattering of originals. The Hellboppers CD "Hellectricity" is in stores now.

Hi Guys
I saw Clapton on Monday night and he played his arse off,the band were awesome and the spotlight was shared around equally, the impression I got was that Clapton is kind of playing the mentor role with Dereck Trucks and Doylle Bramhall, exposing them to his audience, sort of passing on the baton so to speak. Mr Trucks wowed the crowd, he has to be one the most accurate slide players I have ever seen! I never got to see Duanne Allman but I think I may have seen his reincarnation on stage. The band were simply the best of the best! Steve Jordan!! What a drummer! Anyway that's my review and I would advise those of you who wish to witness a wonderfull display of musicianship to go if you can. Cheers Ian.
