Hellcity Punks is a fine combination of poplike melodies, thunderous and intensive riffs, punky attitude and wretched stories about life. Although fostering the legacy of performers like Kiss, Mötley Crüe and Alice Cooper The Punks still succeed to sound very 21st centurian.

After some time of rehearsing and composing, the debut EP “Result In Disaster” was released in august 2008 at HellcityFest ‘08, the one-day indoor festival the band organized themselves. The event was a staggering success and therefore there will be a follow-up, HellcityFest ‘09 on 26th of September 2009. The EP has got rave reviews from the rock media all around Europe (f.ex. Demo of the Month in german Metal Hammer). The single “Destination O.D.” hit the Official Finnish Download Chart as well as the Official Finnish Single Chart and stayed there for seven weeks. The highest position was 14. A video was also made from the single.

Hellcity Punks have become well known for their wild and energetic live performances and have created a tight fanbase across the world. They already have fanclubs/street teams in eight different countries, like The United States and Germany. In April 2009 Hellcity Punks made a small headlining tour in Germany and Austria.
