STEVER	Apr 26 2009 11:43 PM Interesting quote about discovery I wanted to pass along; "Every block of stone has a statue inside it and it is the task of the sculptor to discover it." ~Michelangelo I think we sometimes feel like discovery is when you look hard enough, you find gold. But for Michelangelo, I think he viewed discovery as imagination! What a cool discovery! ;) He also said; "I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free." If you have seen his art before, you may agree that it's quite extraordinary and that he is a good example of having a good attitude about it. :) I hope you find your art inside your block of stone. I think most of us can feel surrounded by stones most of the time. ROCK ON! Karen :)

Unfortunately, I don't know who said it. lol I think when we are constantly moving about, we are learning, changing and growing. But when we are inactive, we can feel like there is no hope. I personally am always glad when something gets accomplished in a day, even if it isn't the large change I am hoping for. Hope you are doing ok! Karen :)
