Hello Karma blends unique and catchy melodies with captivating lyrics that inspire thought. Drawing from the energy of punk rock beats and driving guitars Hello Karma breaks the stereotypical pop-punk mold and strives to reach a more informed audience.
Hello Karma is the latest endeavor of Northwest singer/songwriter Andy Rumsey. Beginning at the age of sixteen Andy discovered a passion for music, applying his creative talents and early interest in pop/punk to form Spokane, WA bands "Wadman" and "Derby." These early projects allowed Andy to take shape as a songwriter, eventually leading to the formation of "Man of Action." That band would go on to tour regionally and produce a critically acclaimed EP – The War at Home.
Eager to gain a new fan base, Andy moved to Seattle and joined with veteran musicians Ben Dietzen, Jody Reyes and Mike Renes. Having been former lead singers of successful Northwest bands themselves, Jody and Mike allow for more complex harmonies. Hello Karma brings everything to the table behind an earnest belief in the music, and the belief that without music life is but a shell of its true potential.
The forth coming full length album, “Aurora Corporealis”, expands upon already thoughtful and personal lyrics to create music that says what most others are afraid to in the face of contentious opposition. Evolving past the limitations of a single genre, this album truly is more than the sum of it’s parts.
High energy live shows and an uncanny ability to connect with fans on and off the stage, Hello Karma is poised to be a breakout success in Seattle and beyond.
"Always fight for progress and reform, never tolerate injustice or corruption, always fight demagogues of all parties, always oppose privileged classes and public plunderers, never lack sympathy with the poor, always remain devoted to the public welfare, never be satisfied with merely printing news, always be drastically independent, never be afraid to attack wrong, whether by predatory plutocracy or predatory poverty"

Hey Andy, I was taking a gander at the old band profiles and found a song that hasn't made it onto any of the CD's that you have made. I had never even heard it played live. It is called Promising Future and it's a great song.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention... Beautiful album artwork! Whoever did it is very talented. It ties everything together stupendously. And thanks for mentioning me in the booklet, I feel honored to be a part of your music and life :) Take Care, Kelly
