"...During the first four minutes of Hello Kitty Death Squad, you could almost see the question marks hanging above everyones head. The questions: Is this for real? Where did these guys come from?...
HKDS was freaky, freaky in a good way. Soon after the crowd picked their jaws off the ground, HKDS delivered everything at full speed. They thrashed, they funked, they tripped, they grooved, they smashed, they screamed, they chilled, they fried, they squished, they sampled. Sometimes, all that packed into 30 seconds....
Somehow, HKDS took the experimentation and fun of Incubus S.C.I.E.N.C.E, tightened the hell out of it and pureed it with Radioheads Hail to the Thief. Thats the best comparison I can give, and it still comes out short. But in general, HKDS and their Basement Transmission Records label mates Pegasus Unicorn, werent afraid to bring something different..."

"...Hello Kitty Death Squad was an awesome mix of sounds, vocals, and musical instruments... Erie bands are for the most part good but these guys are great....
This band had IT, original music was Hello Kitty's bitch. The use of the Saxophone seemed strange at first glance but when used in their music it was phenomenal. Dude on the turntables was a little hard to see from the floor but he brought life to Sherlock's as he performed and sang great songs with melody and a sort of psychedelic super metal funk music...
I think I can safely say this band is a must see... I give the performance two thumbs up!...5 out of 5 on both Song Writing and Originality..."
