HELL ON EARTH's first album, "Biomechanical Ejaculations Of The Damned," was recorded at Morrisound Recording Studios in Tampa, FL with Tom Morris between February 1996-April 1996. Tom Morris, Brian Benscoter and BillY, who is the chief songwriter and plays most of the instruments on the studio albums, mixed it. Neptune Records Company released "Biomechanical..." on October 31, 1996. It received rave reviews from both national and regional media. HELL ON EARTH was listed as "most requested" on radio station playlists for over a year after the debut release.
From 1997-1999 HELL ON EARTH's legendary live shows were developed which featured symbolic art and addressed issues that no one dared to touch. HELL ON EARTH made regular guest appearances on radio programs and television shows that included WXTB Bubba The Love Sponge, WMNF Dark Horizon's, and The Lobster Boy Television Show. Some notable events HELL ON EARTH have been featured at are The Expo Of The Extreme in Chicago, IL, Devils Night I, II & III, Tampa, FL and Clear Channel's Livestock, Zephyrhills, FL.
Between 2000-2001 HELL ON EARTH's second album, "All Things Disturbingly Sassy," was recorded at The Bakery Recording Studio in St. Petersburg, FL. HELL ON EARTH returned to Morrisound Recording Studios to mix it down. Jim Morris, Vinnie Saletto and BillY all took part in the mixing process.
"All Things Disturbingly Sassy" made it to the first round of the 45th Annual Grammy Awards and was released nationally on August 19, 2003. "My Angels Are Demons," a song off of "All Things Disturbingly Sassy," is featured on the Cleopatra Records compilation entitled "Black Sunshine."
In September 2003 HELL ON EARTH received international attention when Florida lawmakers banned them from playing their music in an attempt to stop a terminally ill fan from committing suicide, on-stage, at their show as a political statement in support of physician-assisted suicide.
In February 2004 HELL ON EARTH brought "consensual cannibalism" to America and gave the world a taste by premiering it on www.hellonearth.net.
In April 2004 HELL ON EARTH took some time to lead "The Passion of the Rights Protest." The demonstration helped deter the city of St. Petersburg from passing an ordinance that would allow city officials to legally disconnect the power to live concerts when performing artists said or sang words on stage that the city deemed offensive.
HELL ON EARTH spent 2005 writing new songs for Album III.
HELL ON EARTH took three years to complete and record the songs for their 2009 releases.
