About me: ...Hell is HERE....Hell On Earth: Darklights now on sale!
"And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird." (Revelations 18:2)
Who I'd like to meet: A group of strangers find themselves in a terrifying situation late at night at a rest area off of I-95. Their friends and loved ones are entering the restrooms and are not coming out.
To make matters worse, in trying to find their loved ones, they are being killed one by one by a maniac with a shotgun.
Meanwhile, a young boy named Remy is sent into the jungles surrounding Brazil by a mysterious holy man. He is searching for a good friend of his, a friend that has apparently gone on a recent killing spree.
Remy is told that there is an evil quickly descending upon the world, an evil that is older than the world itself and that it will soon consume the Earth.
Remy and the handful of strangers along the interstate unknowingly share the same fate. They are walking into the waiting hands of an ancient evil, crossing the borders between this world and Hell, walking into the darklights...

Franz Kafka, in his Letter to Oskar Pollak, said, “I think we ought to read only the kind of books that wound and stab us...We need the books that affect us like a disaster, that grieve us deeply, like the death of someone we loved more than ourselves, like being banished into forests far from everyone, like a suicide. A book must be the axe for the frozen sea inside us.”
Crows on the Cross is such a book. Two lovers wake up a thousand miles apart . . haunted by ghosts and memories buried deep beneath the surface, horrors and revelations unfold as the miles click down and they speed toward each other through a day and night of fevered delirium.
“This is a book that shows us both men and women are susceptible to the real-life monsters that live and breathe all around us. In a red '69 Caddy, you'll ride right along side them and delve right into their pasts, becoming white knuckled by the end wanting to destroy their demons for them.”
-Lauren Ferrell, Publisher
“The demons Kristy Tallman creates in this book are too real, so real it will change the way you look at the common passerby every time you walk out your front door. Tallman has done it again! Her ability to turn the pages of a novel into a real to life psychological hell for the reader by showing you that the genuine horror in this world is our very own human race has again been accomplished with an encore for more. Tallman has definitely surpassed the expectations I held after reading The All-Souls Faire. She managed to shock me to the core and horrify me like no other author has in a long time! Excellent!”

It’s Monday night football time. Sorry for the delay, but I’ve been busy with a lot of things lately here at KNB, as well as a couple of writing deadlines, and visiting family, so my myspace felt the neglect recently. In writing news, I’m waiting on a cleaned up edit of my novel, Wereworld, to send to TOR and any other publishers that bite. One of my short stories is being made into a short film soon. And I have another top secret very exciting project we are trying to get underway. I also am about to key a small film here at the shop (more on that later). People at KNB here joke with me about the fact that I am starting an Army here on myspace so… congratulations you are now considered a member of the McCarty Army (its like the KISS Army only cooler) I’m still waiting for someone to do the logos. For a lot of pics, movie set diaries (same as my myspace blog) and news on my writing cut and paste my website address into your browser.
Yes I have stooped to child labor...being a starving artist is a family affair! lol - Have a great weekend!! btw - did we mention free shipping...my daughter delivers the autographed copies on her bicycle :)
May your day be filled with excitement, respect, and the most magical of yard gnomes.
If you end up checking out any of my work, I'd love to hear what you think.

Peter: I'll handle it, Lois. I read a book about this sort of thing once. Brian: Are you sure it was a book? Are you sure it wasn't nothing? Peter: Oh yeah.
Yeah, I need to re-do it actually, half of the songs do not play anymore. I added you to my top friends in effort to help promote your book. When does it hit the shelves?
