Tenn Elliot - Purveyor of cryptic lyrics in a voice lined with Honey
and sand, Ten Elliot is the dynamic, half crazed frontman
on the Hellphones he will raise his hand, and ye shall
dance!
Riley - Shredder of riffs, enigmatic, loud, has the ability to make you drop your jaw at the flick of a plectrum.
Joe Flow - Every band has to have a babe magnet, and top rhythm
man and backing vocalist Flow is ours. Its all in the side
burns baby!
Vinnie Viva - Vinnie plays bass like most wish they could! His fingers move so fast, it's like witnessing that scene in Superman when he... well, moves so damn fast!
Eddie Rastellie - Metronomes have kept worse time and shattered less
cymbals with their sheer enthusiasm. Eddie is the working
mans drummer, injecting power and penetration into all
the Hellphones do.

Ladies And Gentlemen, Please Welcome:
The Hellphones!
Since winning their regional final of the RP Studio’s Emerging Sounds Competition in May of 2005, The Hellphones have leapt from obscurity to notoriety with disarming ease.
The band hails from Johannesburg’s East Rand, a well-known breeding ground for rock ‘n roll mayhem. A five piece consisting of vocalist Ten-Elliot, rhythm guitarist Joe Flow, bassist Jonzila and drummer Eddie Rastelli, and new addition on lead guitar, Riley, The Hellphones play a startling mix of old school rock ‘n roll infused with modern guitar pop and good old fashioned attitude.
They have already shared the stage with Fuzigish, The Diesel Whores, The Slashdogs, Sugardrive and Martin Rocka And The Sickshop and have played major festivals like Woodstock, Splashy Fen, Oppikoppi and Aardklop. With a tune in the Tuks FM SA Top ten, and a song on the SL Selection CD off their demo EP release, the band took a running leap into the public imagination. Ace reviews in FHM, SL and Blunt of their live performances, song writing skills and appearance have resulted in better live shows, more friends and more ambitions.
Most often compared to The Rolling Stones, The Hives, Jack Black, The Kings Of Leon, Thin Lizzy and The Strokes, The Hellphones are in reality, just themselves. Fuelled by rock ‘n roll and on a mission to convert YOU to their sound.
Following up on these live and demo successes, their debut album, “This is How” was released in July 2006. It has been garnering rave reviews in the media including FHM, Blunt, SL and more. With play-listing and chart positions on campus radio around the country, they are steadily building momentum that will see them break out into the mainstream any second now!
It's 2009, and with a new year comes a new guitarist, a new management company and prospects of a NEW ALBUM! Watch this space...
Please visit http://www. billabong. com/girls/za/detail. php?entry_id=95 and vote for me. Also please send this mail to your friends and family and get them to vote for me too. I'm currently ranked number ONE in the top four of the public voting, and if I want to ensure success like I REALLY do, I need to stay exactly where I am until October 1, which is when the competition closes.
Hey hey it was awesome meeting u guys last saturday, shot for the fantasticle show, keep rocking the fuck out! we are looking forward to jamming with you guys soon...
My film is competing in the Looking for Genius category and needs more votes to make the shortlist. So please give me a helping hand by voting for it yourself – its pretty simple:
· Enter the Films & Festivals Community (its the first one on the top left corner when you start Babelgum) and search for my film: The Last Chance
· Use the Rate tool to give it your vote – 5 stars please!
If I win I go to Cannes too pick up my award of 20,000 Euros from Spike Lee, on May 20th. Id love you to come with me and sip champagne while rubbing shoulders with the stars…and maybe you can. Because Babelgum is offering a prize for the person who writes the most original review of the winning films, using the Comment tool or Message Board. Write a glowing review about my entry and if I win, you win!
