Had a few days in Scotland to start off with, up near Aberdeen at a bike rally before headin' to Glasgow for a night there an' meetin' up with my mate that I sometimes travel with. Found a couple of great bars an' the followin' mornin' we set off on our bikes for Ireland. Played three nights up in the north at the Quay Vipers MCC's Snakebite Rally near Limavardy an' joined in on a session over at Westport, Co. Mayo. Can't wait to get back there but just now glad to be home for a while.
I'd hate to count the number of pints of Guinness I must have drank over the past week or so but inbetween (an' when sober) altogether I've ridden 3 miles short of 1,800 miles. Gonna have a couple of days doin' stuff at home before I go into a house-sit for a week (my other job) which is usually a good time for writin' new material, I've a couple of ideas buzzin' round in my head.
All the best
Stevie.
