Helmskey is a Melodic Blackened Death/Thash unit formed in 2001 from the ashes of Droneoath, Machine X, Hymn For The Tortured etc. Members are all seasoned musicians that believe in pure, honest, and sincere music from humble beginnings.
We have currently just released a new EP entitled "Black Disharmonium" and we are planning on releasing a split EP with Beyond the Breath, so be sure to check back and keep in touch!

Ahaha yeah that definitely qualifies you mates for black metal, and yeah I know man. All I hear about is Abigail Williams! or Dimmu Borgir, or Cradle of Filth, that's all I hear about. There is just so many bands trying to be black metal now because of them! There's just a flood of know-nothing bands in me inbox everyday talking about being the next whatever, but they never go anywhere because they know as much about black metal as they do quantum physics. Yeah man I am SO excited to be moving to Finland, and my Finnish girl is just ;D, well you get the picture. Anyways I can't wait to see Mors Principium Est there! I'm definitely on the same page as you, it's nice to see someone who actually has a taste for good music man, I can't tell you what it's like trying to find people that truly enjoy the music they listen to.

Well right now I am in the States, biggest mistake ever, NEVER COME HERE. All these American's are just brainless monkeys running around destroying and consuming everything in sight, an intelligent conversation here is talking with the paint on the walls. Food's terrible, people are terrible, waters are murky with sewage, American is getting a definite double thumbs down from me.
But as for Ireland, they removed the Irish pound! Now we're stuck with the English/UK pound :|

Mate at one point I had 35,000 albums in me iTunes, I'm not sure I can be surprised an anymore haha, and nah there's not many black metal fans in Ireland :|, occasionally, they'll be some metal fans, but most of us just focus on other things. So you're really from Singapore huh? What'ss it like there? :D
Yeah I accept all adds from Bands, there's loads of them Hardcore bands, but I love Melodic Death metal and Symphonic black metal, so it made your add stick out :D
