News on finding Camille's body and on Sunday night's candle light memorial
CAMILLE'S STORY
Camille’s 22-years-old. She’s from Boise, ID. She has 3 siblings - an older brother and sister and a younger brother. Her parents are Joel and Susan Cleverley. She’s always been a good student and was about to start her senior year at BYU this fall. She enjoys music (she plays the saxophone) and spending time enjoying the beautiful outdoors Provo is rich with. The weekend before she went missing, she was in Idaho visiting family. She accidentally left her phone at her older sister’s house, and it was in the mail when she went missing. Camille’s new roommate was the last person to see her, around noon on Thursday Aug. 30. The roommate left their apartment, and when she came back Camille was gone. The only things missing are Camille’s silver and purple Schwinn Mountain bike, and her wallet from her purse. She wears contacts, and left behind her glasses, contact case and solution. She’s a straight “A” student. She had been taking courses during the summer and missed a test for an Independent Study course on Friday. She also didn’t show up for work on Saturday, and has always been a responsible employee. She was signed up for classes for the Fall, though classes started Sept. 4 and still no sign of her.The family received a call Saturday from her next-door neighbor. Concern had been taken before that time, but if wasn’t until Saturday that they found the number for Camille’s brother and his wife, David and Staci Cleverley. Sunday and Labor Day Monday were spent by volunteers, many from Camille’s BYU student ward, spreading fliers around Provo. Two areas they focused on were Rock Canyon and the bike path along Provo River. Many of the leads in the case are certain to be the fruits of these initial efforts.
After a great out pouring of service and love from the community, Camille's body was finally found Sunday afternoon at Bridal Veil Falls in Provo Canyon. She appeared to have fallen close to 250 ft. from one of the hiking trails. The candlelight gathering that was already scheduled for Sunday evening was instead a candlelight memorial where the family expressed their gratitude to all those that have reached out in love and helped in the search for Camille. Thank you to all for your prayers and service, and for assisting in the search for Camille. For more information see the media link above.
