About me:

Hi I am Joshua, I am now 6 years old and I have an auto-immune disease, basically this means that my body is attacking itself. I have a rare bone marrow disease, matter of fact, 1 in a million have what I have. My bone marrow cause tumors and lessions inside my bones which makes it hard for me to walk very much and causes me to be in a lot of pain, I have had to have a lot of surgery to remove part of the tumors and lessions, so they have to drill holes in my bones to get to the problem since they are inside. I also have JRA which cause my joints to hurt and swell up and sometimes I can't write or wear shoes because my joints swell so much. I just got a port put in my chest to make the iv treatments I get easier on me, the iv treatments use to take over 6 hours because my veins are so weak but now with the port the treatment will only take a little over 3-4 hours, so I won't have to sit there so long! The iv treatment helps with my pain and helps control the bone marrow. I come from a loving family, my mom and dad then I have an older brother, and a younger brother and my baby brother born in Dec 2009. Life is hard but I make it through each and everyday with a smile which is the best cure of the heart!
