"The Humane Outreach for Wolves League (HOWL) seeks to protect the wolf species by promoting education and awareness and dispelling popular myths that portray the wolf as an aggressive brute. We also focus on eliminating cruel and unnecessary "population control" methods, and instead look to safe repopulation and redistribution options that allow us to coexist. In doing this, we can rely on the positive effects these creatures have on the environment and economy, thus ensuring a safe ecosystem for our generations to come."
NOTE: I do feel it necessary to state that we in no way endorse breeding wolves as pets. However, there are many programs and sanctuaries that adopt out wolves or wolf mixes that would otherwise be put down. We support these efforts.
