I like to make people laugh, so I have a tendency to do a lot of stupid things, especially when I'm drunk.
Movies
Tend to get really obsessed with some very obscure movies, I love car movies, B movies, and horror films, especially zombie and monster genre, and I tend to get really obsessed with Japanese action movies, especially Sukeban style stuff. I'm really out of date when it comes to mainstream movies, so please don't quiz me on them.... although I've had a little more time lately and I'm kind of catching up.
Television
Haven't owned a TV in 7 years now and I'd bet that I appeared on TV far more often than I watched TV or even movies or videos in the last few years, wow that is weird to think about.... Although now with internet streaming TV I might be getting close to an even ratio... but the new internet shows I've been on lately like iamnotinfected.com and the soon to be released WeEvil.tv are starting to make up for that....
Books
I read voraciously. Mostly old novels because I can't stand shopping at big bookstores, so I tend to buy all my books at thrift stores and get a rather eclectic selection. I love non-fiction, history, and select fictional authors. I go through phases, recently I went through a civil war phase where I read an entire Oliver Optic series of six novels from the late 1800's. Lately I've been on a nautical kick. It's time to go shopping for books again, I wonder what I'll read next?
And here's a couple articles about Mopars I wrote a while back that I recently stumbled across:
Accelerateus Maximus
The Rise and Fall of the Plymouth Road Runner:

The Golden Age of The Chrysler Hemi: http://www.moparstyle.net/history/earlyhemimotor.htm
Heroes
All my friends that have encouraged me to do what I want to do.
About me: This is my personal page for friends only. Period.
You are probably really cool and if you wanna send me a message that's fine but I'm not into being a number on someone's friend collection page.
However you are welcome to add my silly former myspace band page:
www.myspace.com/themysluts
or my wild hot rod garage punk podcast page though:
www.myspace.com/backseatbeat
Maybe if you make friends with me on that page or in person, someday I'll add you to this one, but until then stop bugging me with all those add me messages!
I recently moved to LA to become a star.(hahahaha! Everyone here takes themselves so damned seriously....) I play guitar and sing in the greatest (aka dumbest) band in the whole wide world (isn't myspathe the whole world?)- check out our Myspace page: www.myspace.com/themysluts
I also like to drink and drive. Well not at the same time usually...
I've been really into Mopars for quite a while now. I didn't grow up around it, actually my parents are useless when it comes to cars, they can't even check their oil. I got into cars while living in San Francisco, how that makes sense I don't think I'll ever figure out, but it happened.
I kept buying old cars that broke down on me, and since my boyfriends were all a bunch of useless rockers and artists I had to figure out how to fix them myself. Pretty soon I discovered speed parts and that I could fix up cars to go faster just as easily as I could just fix the problems. Once I started making my cars go faster it got addictive, and I wanted them to go faster & faster, and of course I started racing them on the streets. I was drag racing down in Hunter's Point and I had no clue that there were tracks where I could do this until I bought a car off a friend that raced at Sear's Point. I started going up there in my horribly slow daily drivers because I blew up the fast cars trying drive them on the freeway to the track.
I got addicted to racing, and basically wound up changing my whole life around to be car friendly. Since having seven cars on the streets of SF and moving them for street cleaning twice a week was pretty frustrating I decided I needed to buy a house somewhere. Just like everything else in my life, it seems I can't be content with just one, and now I have quite a few houses, now I'm everyone's favorite slumlord.
I was on Monster Garage a few times, the first all girl episode and then the rock em sock em robots episodes. The first episode they made me look like an incompetant bitch, which is fine, I don't really give a shit what everyone thinks about me. The fight was real, but the buildup surrounding it was greatly changed from reality. Hey at least I got tattooed on national television before it was trendy.
I spent some time over the last couple years being officially retired, but working harder than ever, renovating rental houses, building up my ill-fated rock club, I got my EA licensing so I could be a tax attorney if I feel inclined to get a real job someday... and then I got sick of the corporate world and started my own tax firm... I'm the kinda person that doesn't relax easily and I have a tendency to do a lot of different things constantly. Of course in addition to all this responsible stuff I've still been racing, playing music, having a social life, drinking, etc...
Recently I've started road racing motorcycles- well kind of.... my NSR50 is a half size motorcycle and it's super fun except when I get too crazy and fall....
Who I'd like to meet: People that aren't on myspace.

Gosh! What happened? I thought that AC/DC are responsible for Rock’n’Roll, but after listening the first tracks of Moonshine Moonwalk
I am not really sure about that anymore. When you listen to it your legs are dancing on their own, the head is shaking and you already
have some hooklines in your mind. That’s very effective! The band is called Passarounders and the five dudes are coming from Sweden
with their 3rd record which is a real steamroller (last record is called Audition At The Whorehouse).
After the first 45 seconds of the first track "They'll Never Get Me Alive", which sounds like Maiden, the guitars in combination with the humming bass and the booming drums having a race like
hell together with the head of the band La Dolce Duke.
The vocals remind of Hardcore-Punk and Screamo without any question. Also you recognize certain influences of Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedys) and Henry Rollins (Black Flag). The guitarist
Don Don ensures that also rock’n’roll vocals are included on the record. The High speed track “Lite Life” hits the bulls eye and invites you to pogo like the following track. This one is
predestined to be performed live on stage in combination with Wall-Of-Death due to the witty refrain. "Roll Over Satan" sounds like a hybrid of Volbeat and Motörhead, so in my opinion this
one and “Moonshine Moonwalk” are one of the powerful tracks on this record.
Crystal!! I text you back the other day, but I thought I'd touch base with you here. So sorry I missed you. I travel alot for work so your best bet is to contact me here because I carry around a laptop and that's how I still manage to stay in touch with all my friends. Miss you much and I hope you and Russ are doing great!! xoxox Vivi
