So you would like to know about me. Hmmm, ok well, I was married for 13 years and now divorced since 2005. I am the Mom of 3 terrific girls, ages 20, 13 & 10. Nine years ago I quit my law office job to be home with them. I found myself getting back into my crafting as I tried to find things to entertain my girls. I knew nothing about opening an internet business (back in 1999) and just thought it would be fun to put my crafts on the internet to see what would happen. The internet was totally free at that time and it did not cost me a dime to be seen on the big WWW. I started off as a shop called "Keychains, Crafts & More". It was basically a small keychain shop with a few other types of crafty items. About a year later it turned into HempJewelryShop.com and business started to really boom! I really could not believe how it took off. I feel really blessed to be doing what I love to do for a living. I am here to market my business make friends with other business minded people and connect with my customer whom are the world to me! Featured on GenGreen Website! I was contacted in Summer of 2006 to make My hemp jewelry for this new movie directed by Sean Penn. It was so exciting. They purchased over $1000.00 worth of my jewelry for actress Katherin Keener's character who was a "gypsy" of sorts and in the movie would be selling my jewelry as her wares in the movie. Low and behold a year later the movie finally came out and instead of having her sell hemp jewelry she was selling BOOKS! haha... oh well... so I didn't make the big time this time, but it was still great to be noticed! **smiles**
