*~*My Green Philosophy*~*
Along with Hemp I incorporate recycled fabrics with many of my products. I use, promote and encourage the use of naturally grown organic fabrics like Hemp but also to recycle existing fabrics. Recycling today is commonly accepted and practiced although it's usually limited to the usual aluminum, glass, paper and plastic. Recycling items such as clothing and fabric are often forgotten. This is what makes my items unique since recycled fabrics have limited quantities.
Creativity with sustainability is something I strive for with my company.
People often get swept up in today's consumerism and the "newness" of purchases without thinking about the option of getting their "fix" WHILE simultaneously supporting an environmentally friendly option such as hemp and reused fabric. I am guilty of this myself. I think this is do the lack of choices consumers have and the accessibility of finding these options. Gratefully, this is evolving and many fabulous artists and environmentally friendly companies are sprouting up everywhere!
Please support them! We all know and sadly realize that money makes the world go around, but what's important is- WHAT and HOW, we choose to use our money! As an artist, environmentalist and entrepreneur I want to give people the option of making a choice with their money. Lets face it, we all want our "fix", it's just how we choose to get it.

About me: Hello, my name is Kristin Davis I currently design, cut, sew and embellish all of my Hemp Queen clothing. This means that each garment is individually unique. As an artist I am PROUD to say that my apparel is sweatshop free and is handcrafted IN THE USA!
I am also PROUD to work with hemp. I feel that it's important to push forward towards the legalization of hemp farming and to educate on the many important uses of hemp. I believe that hemp is one of the earth's most overlooked renewable resources.
I love sewing and doing crafty things!
I attended the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN although my major came from sister college, The College of St. Catherine's in Fashion and Apparel. I also attended The Fashion Institute of Technology and received an Associates Degree in Fashion Merchandising Management. Then I completed the Apparel Design Program at the Minneapolis Community and Technology College.

I am truly blessed with the gift of your friendship. I'm very sorry that I haven't been in touch like I should have lately. With all that has been going on with Winston I have not gotten too many chances to be online. The weeks have really gone by fast. I praise God so much that Winston is improving and is almost back to 100%. Now we’re going through an uncertain future with JJ as he remains in ICU at the animal hospital.
