About me: Hen House is an independent zine distro that started in December 2007 in Alabama. Aside from the online store that is run out of my apartment, you can find me tabling zines, buttons, and patches at shows across the Southeast. Add me as a friend to get a heads up about where I'll be tabling next.
I'm interested in all types of zines as long as they are well written and don't contain racist/sexist/homophobic content.
I will accept submissions from anywhere, but one of my main goals is to make the website not only a store but a dynamic resource for Southern DIY projects and DIY spaces (e.g. where to find independent venues, bookstores, zine libraries, zine workshops, infoshops, etc.). So I'm specifically interested in Southern zines, and if you have any ideas about how to make the website better with community-building info, contact me.

NEW BOOK OUT NOW: Chthonic - Prose & Theory by Vadge Moore
"Vadge Moore is an American author and musician that has spent a lifetime testing the boundaries of good and evil. He toured and recorded with the infamous sleaze-punk institution The Dwarves, apocalyptic rock group Neither-Neither World, and his own nihilist-noise unit Chthonic Force. He has written for the early nineties occult journal Primal Chaos, the esoteric magazine Dagobert's Revenge, and the controversial web 'zine Synthesis. Recently Vadge has taken up an aphoristic-prose style of writing that best expresses his iniquitous and sinister insights into the mind of Man. Chthonic: Prose & Theory is just that; prose wedded to theory that scrutinizes the human, all too human, Monster that is Man."
"Chthonic: Prose & Theory" is a collection of perverse and violent prose wedded to his own brand of occult esoterica. Peer into the mind of one of America's greatest living libertines.
