David Henington
I have been playing drums for over 25 years now, beginning back in Mississippi with two regionally successful bands "SOMEBODY" in the 80's to "SCHMILL" in the 90's. Both bands had local and regional airplay throughout the Southeast. "Schmill" produced 2 CD's. "Sunshine Reign", and the self titled "SCHMILL". Both of which were met with regional success and talks with labels, but just didn't seem to be in the cards. I Most Recently played drum tracks for a local artist Chelsey Austin, working with a grammy award winning engineer.
I have played with numerous cover and original projects throughout the years, playing everything from Rock, Blues, country, Dance, Top 40 ect. I am currently working with a classic rock tribute band called StoneAge, performing classic Rock hits of the 60's 70's & early 80's.
My set up is top notch all the way. From top of the line Pearl Masters Custom Series drums, Sabian Cymbals, Sennheiser Microphones, Mackie mixers, to Roland electronics and custom molded in ear monitors. it's the best available. Meticulously maintained and tuned to sound and look beautiful and professional.
I also have Alesis & Roland Electronics that can be integrated into my set up for effects, MIDI, or to get that hard to find sound for song accuracy. I'm always willing to go the extra mile to get it sounding just right. Very Click friendly for your exacting needs, either samples, video link, or just need it to be perfect time every time, it's no problem.
My set up also can include portable drum riser, plexiglas shield, and sound absorption panels for volume control and precise P.A. sound.
I have a love for many styles of music and my music collection is vast and consists of just about every genre out there. So, whatever you drumming needs are, chances are I can handle it.
