His is recogniced all over India for his extraordinary talent and he has two albums out on Indiabeat/EMI playing with a.o some of the most respected musicians in India... ..But there´s more to Henrik Andersen than just Indian music : he seems to be able to speak any music dialect and blend it all in his own original funky mixture. So far he has released 14 solo albums in all kinds of genres , mainly instrumental guitar music and vocal music.. From rock, to jazz and brasillian techno, few musicians has this span of dialects... He has played and toured with drummer Trilok Gurtu (India) and the flute-player Shashank (India)The famous tabla player Bickram Ghosh (India) Pete Lockett (UK) Ranjit Barot (India) Mahesh Vinaykram (India) Mandolin Rajesh (India) . And Danish hip hop/pop-band OUTLANDISH (DK) - and many many more bands. And besides his own 14 releases he is sideman on a lot of albums.. He has composed the soundtrack to several danish movies and theater shows... Henrik Andersen was the soloist(guitar) in John McLaughlin’s difficult concerto for Guitar & Orchestra ”The Mediterranean” with the Royal Danish Music-conservatoire Symphony-orchestra. So…he is a man who really can play!
