I have, as have many others, been blessed with the talent of music, and, if I had the money, there would be more than a few 'worthy' bands and singers I would get signed immediately…BUT, unfortunately the music business is just that: business! So, to do my part, I have decided to become a 'music disciple' of sorts and start my own religion… NEW YORK NITES with Percy Duke, starts Tuesday, March 25th,, at the Stampen Club in Stockholm! I will be your host with the most and will be inviting local and international singer/songwriters to perform (so if u happen to be in the area then send me a line!)! There is only one stipulation: you better be fucking good and born to be onstage, otherwise you are not getting on any stage with me! I will invite 2 – 3 acts every two weeks to do a song or two and then let the audience decide if there are to be more songs from said artist. You can promote yourself, sell your CD's, demos or EP's and have a nice drink and meet others who are working their asses off to have their musical 'say' in this difficult business we have somehow chosen for our lives! The House band consists of the best players in Stockholm: Derek January on bass,, James Bradley, Jr. on drums,, Chuck Anthony on guitar, and Joakim Simonsson on keys!
