So today on my practice I tried singing some demanding ballads in Spanish. I guess it's the spirit of Valentine's day :)

My current projects

-SOLO: Just me and my acoustic guitar! I have played a few times like this so far and look forward to going further into this direction. My set-list includes original songs as well as covers from the Beatles, Pink Floyd and others whose nice songs I like to play and sing.

- TWO OF US: http://www.myspace.com/band.twoofus Me and Dmitriy Voronin (from Russia) formed this acoustic duet in May 2009 in Cottbus, Germany. We started covering Beatles and classic rock songs but eventually added more of our original material to the shows. We don't play that often anymore because we're living in different cities, but we recently released a CD, recorded with the support of the the International Office of the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus. More on our own profile.

- CHANGING BEHAVIOUR: Still a project in the works. This is also a sort of acoustic duet with me on guitar and vocals and my friend Jose Benenati (currently living in Spain), with whom I played in Venezuela on Aeternus Sum, as bass player. I have composed music for this and some home recording basis have been made, but nothing is ready to be presented yet. In the meantime, you can check one original song and one cover we have done on rehearsals, at the times we have gathered in Madrid to work. These videos are posted here below: Berlin (written by me) and That's Why It Hurts (by the German prog band Sylvan).

And this is a video from my old progressive rock band Aeternus Sum www.myspace.com/aeternussum. This was taken when we gathered for a reunion rehearsal in 2008, in Caracas, Venezuela, after 5 years apart:

  • Bio

I was born in Caracas, Venezuela a 20th of April. I have been involved with several Venezuelan bands, especially Aeternus Sum (my more personal progressive rock project) and Parkas (2004-2007). I have also worked on radio shows like Kultura Rock, El Idioma del Rock (The Language of Rock) and Evolución (Evolution, web radio). Besides, I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural Promotion, from the Central University of Venezuela and a Master of Arts degree in World Heritage Studies from the Brandenburg University of Technology in Cottbus, Germany, where I currently reside. Apart from playing music and listening to as much of it as possible, I love traveling, exchanging life experiences with people from all over the world, learning languages, taking pictures, being on the Internet and watching movies. • Influences

Too many to mention, but I particularly admire Brian May, David Gilmour and Alex Lifeson, among thousands of others, either virtuosos (John Petrucci) or minimalists (The Edge). Good music can be found anywhere!
  • Sounds Like

I praise many guitarists but I don't sound like any of them.
