I love all things flying.
I’m pretty conservative, but with my roots, I can’t help but support environmental protection.
I’m a proponent of good schools and a good neighborhood for my family.

I am your typical Blue Heron with a wife and two and a half kids (Spalding, Haley and an egg). My wife Helen and I recently purchased our first home in Atlanta’s most beautiful master-planned community, Heron Bay Golf and Country Club in Henry County, Georgia. We wanted a location convenient to the Atlanta Airport where I’m based as a pilot. Our family is always busy, flying off for a Bird Scout meeting here or a swimming lesson there so proximity to work was important to us. No more flying all over town for the things we need, either. It’s all right here in our own Town Center. Now I actually have time to do the things I love, like spending time with family, picnicking by the lake, hiking and oh yeah – working on my golf game at Canongate at Heron Bay. (I’m no Tiger Woods, but I hold my own!)
Check back here often to find out what’s going on at Heron Bay. With the tennis courts, golf course, swimming pools, clubhouse, lakes and trails, there’s always something happening. And our community’s commitment to land preservation is a far flight from anything else going on around here. You won’t believe how happy that makes all my cousins who still live off the land.
Who I'd like to meet:
Friends and neighbors at Heron Bay Golf and Country Club Tiger Woods – I’d like to meet him on the links at Canongate and watch him set some new course records Jimmie Johnson – he is leading the pack on the NASCAR circuit. Did I mention that Heron Bay is also close to the Hampton Speedway? Jack Hanna - host of Animal Adventures – It would be cool to join him on David Letterman. (Imagine his surprise to meet a talking Heron!)
I am going to get the respect that I want from people or I need to change the people that I am working with! Donald Trump Letter Let’s face it, folks: I live very large. My buildings and books are bestsellers. I command a handsome fee for my speaking engagements. I have lots of beautiful things. Success compels a lot of people to slow down, but I never have. I work harder today that I did 20 years ago. Just as momentum is a prerequisite to success, it is equally vital to its continuation – not just in business, but in life. If you are not out there challenging yourself every single day, you are shortchanging your potential. That goes for age six as well as age sixty. Due to momentum, the Trump brand has evolved a great deal over the past couple of years. The Apprentice and the Donald J. Trump Signature Collection, to name a few, have been amazing successes. Now, my bottom line doesn’t demand the multi-millions that accompany these ventures, or, by way of example, the multi-millions that will come with the tremendous new casino project I’m developing in Philadelphia, but I love the work. That is the key to momentum. In this issue, you will see where forward motion is leading the Trump brand. GoTrump. com will be a new force in travel, and in Atlantic City, renovations on the area’s best properties are currently underway. I think both projects are prime examples of the extent to which I am maintaining my momentum. Great rewards are here too, from my friend Jay Leno’s opportunity to drive an incredibly exotic car to some of the most impressive homes on the market today, amazing restaurants, watches, and executive tools of the trade. From my office or penthouse in Trump Tower, I can look out onto Manhattan and see all my accomplishments. Rather than an invitation to rest, the view is a constant call to action. I hope you find similar momentum. Donald Trump
I have loved this letter and read it over and over. I hope you enjoy it as wel
Hey Henry. The new lakefront pavillion sure looks like a nice place to hang out. My husband, David, is the builder for John Wieland Homes and Heron Bay. I appreciate your blog on John Wieland Homes. Keep up the good work.
