I am your typical Blue Heron with a wife and two and a half kids (Spalding, Haley and an egg). My wife Helen and I recently purchased our first home in Atlanta’s most beautiful master-planned community, Heron Bay Golf and Country Club in Henry County, Georgia. We wanted a location convenient to the Atlanta Airport where I’m based as a pilot. Our family is always busy, flying off for a Bird Scout meeting here or a swimming lesson there so proximity to work was important to us. No more flying all over town for the things we need, either. It’s all right here in our own Town Center. Now I actually have time to do the things I love, like spending time with family, picnicking by the lake, hiking and oh yeah – working on my golf game at Canongate at Heron Bay. (I’m no Tiger Woods, but I hold my own!)
Friends and neighbors at Heron Bay Golf and Country Club Tiger Woods – I’d like to meet him on the links at Canongate and watch him set some new course records Jimmie Johnson – he is leading the pack on the NASCAR circuit. Did I mention that Heron Bay is also close to the Hampton Speedway? Jack Hanna - host of Animal Adventures – It would be cool to join him on David Letterman. (Imagine his surprise to meet a talking Heron!)
