Henry is our gift. While planning this event, I stopped to think about all the surgery and recovery he has been through. He has many more to come and yet, he keeps on smiling. Enjoy this small glimpse into his life!!
March 15th 2008 we hosted a fun run/walk to raise funds and awareness for Children's Craniofacial Association. CCA is an amazing organization that supports both emotionally and financially children diagnosed with facial disfigurements. We are proud to announce that we raised over $24,000 and had the most beuatiful experience in our community! Join us next year MARCH 2009!!
Contact us at laurynhenry@sbcglobal.net or 209.664.0500 if you'd like to contribute to the 2009 event!!
5 1/2 years ago our son Henry was born. He was a BIG boy weighing 10 lbs 14 oz. To our suprise he was born with Apert Syndrome. This syndrome affects the development of the face and skull, his fingers and toes were also fused together. Henry has had over NINE surgeries since birth starting at 9 1/2 months old. They vary from ear tubes to complete skull reconstruction. Our surgeon is in Dallas Texas, so we travel from CA to TX for all of his critical care. We are not alone in this journey though. We have many friends and family that love and support us. As well as CCA.
TJ and I are dedicated to giving back to a organization that is very near and dear to our hearts. So plan of joining us. If you are out of the area, we would still love a donation.
Thank you for everything you do for CCA! We love you guys and feel so blessed to have you in our lives!!!! Muah! Love, Three Chicks in an Office (we still love that one!)
Thanks for posting the race results,I was wondering what place I got. I think I did pretty well for this being my first one. I am so glad I made it, I read in the newspaper that you got around 20,000 dollars? THAT iS AWESOME!!!!
I saw you and Henry, and I have to say, that he is even more adorable in person, than in his pictures.
Thanks for hosting this event, I had a great time, and I am, happy that I was able to donate some money too, where exactly is it going, because I remember that it isn't for Henry?
Also, how was your Easter, did you set up an Easter egg hunt?
I ended up getting a job, and they sent me away for training. I was so bummed not to be there. Thank you for the slideshow. I just wish I could have gotten my shirt, but the donation was well worth it. Maybe next year.
WOW, WOW, WOW...I can not believe how much Henry's March raised for CCA!!!! I am totally blown away and SO PROUD of you, your family and the entire community! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! The Johnson Family is truly AMAZING!!!

We will certainly be out there next year! Looking forward to it ;) Matter fact, I would love to help out (volunteer)!! If there is anything...and I mean anything, I can do, please let me know! It was a pleasure meeting you and TJ (Josef has talked about him before...they work together) and it was great to meet your amazing Henry. He is certainly a doll!! Not only did he look cute in his Spidey face, but looking at him naturally on your page...he just touches my heart. I hope someday to meet Henry, for he was so popular with the ladies the other day I couldn't squeeze my way in. LOL.
