Dare to read Where will you spend eternity? This could be the greatest question in the world? Please dare to read and after ponder about it and react positively. Apart from God nothing matters we think that health matter, that freedom matters, or knowledge or art or civilization. And but for one insistent word they would matter indeed. That word is eternity. Many people are only concerned with what happens today or perhaps a few month down the road. At best, they may be concerned with what happens after retirement. But what about ...."life after death?” are you prepared for it if not? The concept of death is undeniable. Although your physical body will die someday, your spirit will continue to live for an eternity. Whether your spirit lives in Heaven or in Hell depends on choices you have made. Millions of people spend dozens of hours each week watching dead people on TV. From Elvis to Lucy to Jimmy Stewart, and recently the tragedy at V-Tech, the faces of folks who no longer exist entertain us. Time not only snatched their looks, it snatched their lives. Today, good-looking Hollywood stars are making movies so that tomorrow’s generation can also pass the time by watching dead people on TV. Time makes today tomorrow’s memory. Each weekend seems to pass us by like blurred telephone poles flashing past the window of the speeding train of life. Let’s assume that the average person dies at 70 years old. Then if you are 20 years old, you have just 2,500 weekends left to live. If you have turned 30, you have 2,000 weekends left until the day you die. If you are 40 years old, you have only 1,500 weekends left. If you are 50, then you have just 1,000 weekends, and if you are 60, you have a mere 500 weekends left until the day death comes to you. That thought concerns me as well. I somehow can relate to “weekends,” while “years” puts death into the distance. It shakes me enough to ask myself, what am doing with my life. The bible puts it this way in Hebrews 11:27” …As it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” If today you stand before the judge/God and he judges by his laws the ten commandments, you will escape the judgment the bible says that those that reject Jesus Their end will be eternal hell.. If there was one chance in a million that Jesus Christ ‘has abolished death, and has brought life and light through the gospel,’ you owe it to your good sense just to look into it. REMEMBER YOU HAVE AN OPPOINTMENT Here is the way you can make it to heaven, by only and simply accepting Jesus Christ as your personal savior and Lord. Why? The Bible says that ...."Jesus is the way the truth and life no one comes to the father except through Him....". So today is your day of believing Him. You can read in Romans 10:9-13 it tells you how one gets saved. If you’re ready and see the need to ask God to forgive you your sins, say these words, from the bottom of your heart it’s a prayer of getting saved. DEAR LORD, I BELIEVE THAT JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD , AND HE DIED FOR MY SINS , AND ROSE AGAIN , LORD I ACCEPT YOU AS MY PERSONAL SAVIOUR ,FORGIVE MY SINS , COME INTO MY LIFE AND WRITE MY NAME IN THE BOOK OF LIFE.
