Henta, originally from the UK, is an accomplished singer/songwriter, performer, producer, recording artist, collaborator and library music writer.
She released her third album 'Laserium for the Soul' in August 2009 and the album made it into the first round of voting for the Grammy's n the New Age Category. 'Vision of Truth' from the album also became Grammy Eligible for the 'Best Female Pop Performance'.
'Nothing Quite Like' from her second album 'Daisy Dancing', recently became nominated in the Hollywood Music In Media Awards. 'Daisy Dancing' released in Seattle in March 2008, consists of dream-pop, electronic, rhythmical, melodical downtempo, ambient and acoustic songs with strong and sensual vocals. She also write lullabies for children (and adults!) and teaches pop tunes to children in schools.
'Daisy Dancing' was Grammy Eligible in 'Best Pop Album' in 2008 and Henta's vocal performance on 'so loved' from that album, made it into the 'best female vocal performance'.
"Nothing quite like' has been included in Free Lap Dances Vol 4: Benefit CD which is the fourth volume in an ongoing CD compilation series that generates money to house, feed, and find homes for wayward pets.
'Nothing quite like' also received an award in the Pop category of the UK Songwriting Contest 2008 which received over 6,200 entries.
'So Loved' from Daisy Dancing was placed in the Beat Marketing 'Hear it Here' Vol 36 distributed to 1200 cafes and coffee houses across the United States during September 2008
