I've published newspaper op-eds, political campaign press releases, a paper in an undergrad academic journal, a non-profit position paper, and some small circulation magazine articles. I mostly do stuff about bioethics and disability nowadays.

About me: I’m a wannabe scholar-activist working at the intersection of disability theory and biomedical ethics. That is, I read, write, think, teach, and organize action around how people’s concepts about disability impact the institution and practice of medicine. Eventually, I hope to get paid to do this as philosophy professor specializing in “the disability rights critique” of bioethics. For now, I live in a dorm room the size of a typical 26 year old man’s closet (I even store stuff in the bathroom) and spend most of my time getting hopped up on energy drinks and going in search of that “perfect spot” in the library.
I do make an effort to not be too isolated to the ivory tower though. I am really into justice issues surrounding disability more broadly and see it as a lifestyle akin to something like being a radical feminist, rather than a mere academic interest or political ideology. So, my world-view may be a bit different than most people’s to say the least.
I like being around people who laugh loudly and think openly.
My leisure activities include: traveling, visiting my family, listening to live music, eating good food, ranting to my friends about politics, consuming unreasonable amounts of caffeine, and embarrassing myself in exceedingly public places – sometimes all simultaneously.
Who I'd like to meet: thinkers, doers, laughers, talkers, believers, listeners, jokers, readers, eaters, writers, carers, creators, partiers, communicators, dreamers, rockers, arguers, lovers, and anyone else who wants to meet me! Although, I don't generally talk to people unless I know them or they give me a good reason to (note: "come see my sexy webcam" is NOT a good reason), I do give people with dwarfism or another disability the benefit of the doubt (note: unless they are trying to get me to see their sexy webcam).
