Music Composition & Scoring for Film/Musicals/Advertising/Acting & Live Performances: Herbert von Schild has been composing music for independent film and cable television.
He has also been acting in a variety of independent feature and short films, and enjoyed being a stuntman and extra in the Three Musketeers with Charlie Sheen, Kiefer Sutherland, Chris O'Donnell and Tim Curry (see also http://sites.google.com/site/herbertvonschild/home2).
Herbert performed on stage this year during the summer months at the musical "The Hat", playing the president of the United States.
In addition, Herbert has been a contestant on Debra Crosby’s Talent Quest TV Show this year with coming in second place in the July 2009 show. Since then he has performed multiple times on local and state events and his fan base is growing steadily.
Herbert is currently busy with scoring the film music and playing the lead actor role in another short film, scheduled to be shown next year at the Cannes film festival in France.
Growing up in Vienna, Austria, Herbert knew from an early age that his passion for music and entertainment would eventually lead him to music composition and film scoring. Herbert’s exposure to the unique and melodic music styles used in Austria and across Europe combined with his experiences living in the United States transforms his music into an exceptionally original and elevating style and rhythm.
