Loving all shades of the harder rock variety of music, this band writes and plays music for one reason-because they like to play and perform these songs together. With outside careers ranging from electrical engineering, medical student, accounting, and an undergrad in the works, the band could obviously find better things to do. But this band and what it is trying to accomplish is truly a labor of love to everybody and one that we would like see through. Through our handful of shows the surface is starting to be scraped away and a tight-knit unit is starting to form. From that unit, catchier and more intricately written songs will finally emerge. There are already so many bare-boned structures of songs that nowadays we hardly know where to start when writing new tunes. But rest assured, fans ranging from Coheed to Smashing Pumpkins will find something that they like with us. And if you catch us live or we finally get into a studio for a proper demo, who knows-maybe you will see the love too.

I'm severely bummed out!! Last night was our last gig with our bro Bruce and the boy (53 mutha f*c!^!^ yrs old) tore the shit of it...made me step up and rip off a few chops that I normally don't play!
Bruce will always be an influence on Maxx Menagerie's music...he's inpired me, Patrick, Mark & Zac to write a whole lot of music over the past 9 - 10 months with his powerhouse punchy & melodic guitar chops.
