2005...
South East rock n' roller's LAST LAUGH and instrumental virtuosos ANTICOMPLEX strike up a frienship through continual gigging together, the two band's very different sounds compilmenting each other perfectly. In particular, Anticomplex's mainman and guitar prodigy PAUL HILLS and Last Laugh's bass player and lyricist STEVE BRIXEY find a kinship through a shared taste in music and alcohol, a respect for each other's work, and the desire to expand their musical horizons. Conversations lead to jam sessions. Jam sessions lead to songs. Songs lead to the idea of a band.

Many different names drift in and out of the frame for inclusion in the new project. But it is when vocalist / lyricist CARRIE SIMPSON returns from a year of travelling Canada and America to begin playing with the band that things begin to take concrete shape. The immediate musical chemistry between the three make Simpson a natural choice as singer, and a unique and powerful sound and identity begins to emerge, unswayed by current trends or fashions. Their undeniable rhythmic chemistry making him an obvious choice, Steve's sibling and Last Laugh drummer DARREN BRIXEY is enlisted to complete the line up

The CD: A track charge of £5 per band member will be taken from the deposit if the band wished to be part of the compilations with a per track value charge of £1 per track # in reverse of the track 20, i.e. track #1 £20, track#7 £13, Track#20 £1 etc (Free if recording at Jigga Jam studios)
Deposits: Will be fully returnable (£10) or in part (£5 )of CD has been utilised by the band, this money will be in cash and can be claimed form the 1st June until 31st July at which point it will be donated to charity of our choice. whats up? i found this site and thought i'd tell everyone, it shows you if anyone at school likes you. i dont know how it works but its really cool, it told me a couple different people who have crushes on me. you gotta try it!
wow! Guys that's awesome....what a beautiful unique blend of some rockin influences....hard to pick a fav but fallen over fallen in hasn't left my head yet......i'm off to download them and harass all my friends with burned off copies.....lots of love from across the pond....JC
