The band was born in late 2001 and will always have the same line-up untill today.
The homonym demo cd was recorded in late 2002 at Disarmonia Mundi studio.
From 2001 to early 2004 the band played many and many live shows but some personal problems of some of the member caused a stop for more that one year.
The band still continue to be very compact and would not change any on the members, the feeling is very high.
Heredium first work is a demo cd with 4 tracks, self-produced and distributed. The songs are a part of the first Heredium concept, power style for the historical/fantasy life of a knight of King Arduins court.
King Arduin is considered the first Italian king, lived in 1200 d.c. fighting barbarian invasions from the north and building his reign the the north-west of Italy, near Turin. The most important battle was at the Rocca di Sparone, the place where Heredium took the pictures for the artwork. The lyrics want to include the historical facts in a fantasy/mythological atmosphere.
The complete concept at the moment has 7 tracks, and some other songs have been composed for the next release.
In april 2006 a new axeman joined the band, Weiki, giving heredium new blood to the line up.
