My dog Sassafras and I send our deepest sympathy to you on the loss of your Augie. I know how mauch a pet fills our lives and how it feels like we've lost a family member when they pass on.
Be assured that Augie is still with you in your heart.

With love from Janis (Richard Pegue's sister and her dog Sassafras)
Jack Pendarvis

Ah, ARS...my very first concert ever was an ARS show, way, waaaaaaaay back, in another universe (the universe called "the late seventies"). It was at the old Pensacola Bayfront Auditorium, actually, which sadly no longer exists. Hank Williams Sr. played there once. And yet they tore it down. I tell ya, there oughta be a law (and someone should be shot, ta boot).

What are these rumors I hear about another studio album? It would really be great (only if you really wanted to though).

Have fun touring, might see you around!
Best of wishes from Chile :)

Pre-show biz leg shaving at the Roosevelt Hotel? That's kinda hot.

Yea, I almost said Jager for the same reasons, plus I know you like it.  But, my old stomach couldn't take it no mo', and I don't have any to boot.

P.S.  I have a queasy feeling that this is somewhat like doing shots with Karen Allen in Raiders.  This game I cannot win.

Not familiar with dial-a-shot, although it sounds like a good time.  I'm normally a gin man these days, but lately I've turned to scotch and whiskey a bit.  Let's go with whiskey.  You did say you were "game", I believe...

Running a quick errand, so you might get a little ahead, but I'll catch up within the hour.  That's a promise.

I think I'll join ya, too, Hogie. Looks like you've started a revolution. Hell, just how long has it been, since we got drunk-ish together? I'll tell ya how long...too long. But, that's another story for another time. I found a big ole wooden box recently with old letters and what-not, and lot's of postcards from you. Your postcard selection was nothing if not eclectic. I hate that word, btw, but it fits. Eh, maybe arcane is a better choice. Well, anyway...here's mud in yer eye!
