Here's to Victory is the product of a long series of bands after bands after bands. But what else is new? Drummer Joseph Huson and guitarist/composer Todd Janes started playing a wide variety of projects together from the group that played a rediculous amount of talent shows (their name changed everytime time they played it seemed) to the most recent band Juli. After Juli disbanded, (lead vocalist Brandon Bell left for California to continue school), Janes and Huson decided to start the new project Here's to Victory adding Stephanie Huson on the piano. After jamming and searching far and wide for a lead vocalist, the trio grew anxious and tired of being idle, and Todd stepped into the lead vocalist role. Soon after that they recorded a demo featuring the driving, booming song "Fiction" and the powerful and melodic "Swan Song". Not long after, bassist Jon Ruch and guitarist Charlie Bailey were added to the mix. While Bailey left for college, Ruch stayed on board to continue with Here's to Victory as they progressed as a band. Currently, Here's to Victory is ( as always) writing new material and having a good time pursuing original, well written music that tells people in music what they cannot express only in simple words.
Todd my good man, i have a odd request for you. So i'm trying to put together a little production for the travel channel to enter a contest and nothing we used, video or audio can be copywrited. I can clearly go without music, but that's kind of boring, i was wondering if i could get your "express" consent to use some of your tunes for is, particularly "fiction" and if you could send me the mp3 for it. let me know, it's due in a week so take your time. thanks
Well, the key still didn't work for the mailbox so I put in a work order...we'll see if that works. I need my stats book in the mail!! Have a nice night!
You were amazing last night, and I basically had the time of my life... I got everyone's signature from HTV except for Joseph's, so next time I hang out with you guys, I'll bring your line-up I stole, and Joseph can sign it...
The rest of my baby was delicious! Do you feel lighter without your teeth? :) It was fun hanging out with you, and I really like the band's sound! More random comments!!!
Hey there new friend! Thanks for the request! Hope you're enjoying the music. We're on the look out for a drummer so if you come across one, send them our way. Spread the word! Hope all's good :) FV
The self-titled debut EP from Captain Black Heart is a stirring combination of heart-on-the-sleeve lyrics and lush musical arrangements. The influence of Elliott Smith and Nick Drake . . .
Yo, I apologize for the impersonal comment. I wanted to inform and invite you to a show tomorrow (10/26) at the Q Cafe in Seattle. If you aren't doing anything I would love to see you there. I have more details on my page so feel free to stop by! Peace and Love.
