| General | I believe it is worth noting that my list of things I like is longer than the list of things I don't like.
I like: (in no particular order) chocolate, books, cats, computers, computer games, science fiction, learning new things, people who make me laugh, cool old cars, flea markets, vintage clothes, beer, blue flowers, PBS, BBC, good movies, really bad movies, books, sushi, spiders, sharks, snakes, bats, jellyfish, science fiction, horror movies, my collection of Buddha figurines, jazz, long hot baths, casual dinners with friends, tropical birds, classical music, books, the smell of freshly washed laundry, cinnamon-flavored chewing gum, old punk bands, homemade ice cream, books, stained glass windows, silly conversations, gardening, Honey Nut Cheerios, going for walks, sex, singing in the shower, the soft murmuring not-quite-silence of libraries, wood floors, sitting on the beach watching the ocean, catnaps, comic books, clambakes, rainy Sunday afternoons, contact lenses, books, jigsaw puzzles, dancing until I'm sweaty, Buffalo wings, silver jewelry, oil pastels, old T-shirts that have been washed so many times they feel like velvet, books, books, more books, the nostalgic fragrance of Crayola crayons, watercolor pencils, dictionaries, encyclopedias, barbecues, and finding a shiny penny heads up on the sidewalk.
Dislikes: (also in no particular order, aside from the first item) the Bush administration, cheap waxy chocolate, finding cat fur in my food, the security holes in Windows XP, reality shows, SUVs and the dumbf***s who buy them, stupid people in general, pantyhose, Yaegermeister, weeds, fleas, religious fanatics of any kind, beef liver, fast food, hypocritical right wing gay bashing queers, raccoons dumping my garbage cans, the smell of drowned worms on the sidewalk after it rains, artificial sweeteners, talentless pop stars, McMansions, mushy overcooked vegetables, cheap ballpoint pens, wall-to-wall carpeting, and dust bunnies. I also hate war, famine, disease, injustice, racism, sexism, vivisection and Diet Pepsi. Anybody who actually read this far and understood that last reference wins a prize.
