Marcus Saunders, Founder and CEO of the new fashion company, started Heritage.1 in May 2007. His vision is to create a line that all people can follow. "I want to bridge a world so divided through our designs...appealing past our national boundries. We have a unique opportunity to do something different in the fashion world and WE accept the challenge."

With the help of Co-CEO Lamar Cannon, Head Designer Stephanie Bell, and a very talented and driven fashion design team (FDT), their mission is to create designs that inspire, empower, and promote unity. "With great substance and integrity, our brand of clothing will embody togetherness and forwardness. We will be working with manufacturers to produce a fresh, sexy, classy, yet provocative, edgy, colorful, and some what of a vintage and urban line."

Their approach to running the company says it all in a small insert of their business philosophy: "90% business and 10% design". Launching with a collection of premium casual-wear t-shirts, they hope to expand their vision by ultimately becoming a full fledge line in years to come.

Heritage.1 is always interested in working with new artist that have creative design themes for collections; with original works already designed and ready for commission; or have visions of collaborating. Skilled, unskilled, or professional, they'd love to hear your thoughts and possibly exchange some ideas.
