About me: My name is Nahum Kisner and I am the High School Event Coordinator for Heritage College in Denver, Colorado.
Let me first just say thanks so much for checking out Heritage College's Myspace page! I have already met or will meet many of you either through classroom presentations or at college fairs.
As the college recruiter for Heritage College, I give presentations to high school classrooms, as well as attend college and career fairs. My classroom presentations focus on Heritage College programs as well as providing information on how to prepare for "Life After High School"
I chose to be a College Recruiter for Heritage College because I sincerely believe in their mission. "To Teach People to Change Their Lives." Upon completing my Masters Degree in Counseling, I was determined to have a career that focused on helping and encouraging high school students in their decisions on college and future careers. At Heritage, I am able to encourage and motivate students to see the value of a Heritage Education.
I believe that knowledge through education is something that no one can take away from you. That is why I am so passionate about education and proud to work for Heritage College.
Who I'd like to meet: Any potential High School Student who is interested in Heritage College. Heritage's mission is "To Teach People to change their lives by preparing students for entry-level careers in the allied health, wellness and beauty professions.
